About the Event
Bob MacLean was a much-loved leader at the Wentworth Recreation Centre for more than a decade. He chaired the Wentworth Recreation Centre Association for most of that time seeing in many new programs and volunteers and reintroducing long-time programs like our weekly Bingo. Pickleball became very popular under his watch for example. We lost him in 2025, but before passing, he attended our first Crib Tournament and he managed to give a speech telling us how important it was to his life being able to be a volunteer. Bob loved playing Crib and we are so pleased that this tournament will now be run on an annual basis in his name.
